Concert Photos of Jesse Red Horse.

Welcome to my Flute journey in pictures

Here you will find photos of concerts, friends and listeners who have enriched my musical path!

Mr.&Mrs. Red Horse at WMPG Radio pre-show.

We had found a Native music advocate in Mrs. Vallier Cartonio DJ for the WMPG Native Radio show "Echoes on the wind" Val was instrumental in launching my radio appearance curciut.

Her shows were always fun to do and the feed back from her shows was always remarkable, I have the distiction of bringing in one of the largest Native music groups to their station when I arrived for one show with about a dozen Female singers / drummers from the Blue Moon drum group along with two guitarist Wind Dancer & Good Lance.

Thanks Val for launching our music to the radio audiance, We love you Val.

I'm proud to say that all my regalia (clothing) was hand made by myself.

This regalia is constructed of deer skin with seed bead work, the bib of the War shirt is beaded in the 1850 style of our traditional Blackfeet "Lazy stich" design.

The hair peice is that of two spotted Eagle feathers and my face paint is in the style of the Bear scratch using the colors of Red white and blue.

Leggings are constructed of deer skin and the beaded stripes on the outer edges of the leggings depict bead work that indicates my Tribal affiliation, which Band of the tribe I belong to and my postion within the tribe.

(Left) Concert for The Appilation Mountain Club N.H.

I use to do steady appearances at the AMC Visitor center up North and it was always one of my favorite places to play, the folks we would meet there would be hikers from all over the world, we stopped doing concerts at this location when their funds were cut for Cultural Events.

I was called upon to be the opening act for International Native American Music Award winner Bill miller.

The concert to place in Laconia,N.H. to a packed house of 600 Native music fans, the night was one I would never forget, and it was my very first public appearance outside of the Powwow concerts.

I still get positive comments to this day regarding this event.

Me with my Lovely Wife Linda at Foxwoods.

Linda and I spent three days at Foxwoods Casino & Resort, we were there to do a two hour Native Radio concert that was broadcast world wide over Sirrius satilite radio, the Resort has a state of the art radio broadcasting studio and the good folks at the Casino made sure that we wanted for nothing during our stay.

It was a remarkable concert that generated Cd orders from such countries as Germany, Japan, Scotland, Ireland, England, France, China , the USA and Russia.

We also recieved emails at the site from around the world from those who tuned in and wanted to leave their best wishes, continued sucsess and all were positive in nature, this only served to drive us to create new Cd projects.

(Right) Jesse & Kim White Feather.

For 4 years I've enjoyed playing my flutes at the White Feather Native American Center hosted by Kim White Feather, here we were captured performing a duet at the Center during her annual Mothers Day Concerts.

(Left) Jesse with Bill wind Dancer on Guitar.

Each year Bill would invite me to perform for some 350 Boy Scouts at the annual BSA Native Concert where I proudly enjoyed the status of being the featured performer.

The boys were always grateful and it was always a great place to connect with the young men of the next generation.
